Who we are
OUR HISTORY
LAMEC was founded in 1980 by its founder Alfonso Pacifico.
Over the years it has specialized in the surface treatment of metals and their mechanical processing.
During the 80s and 90s, finishing systems were developed and implemented and production capacity increased with the introduction of new numerically controlled milling and turning machines.
The attention focused on the multiple needs of customers pushed Lamec at the end of the 90s to make large investments in industrial automation of deburring and CN mechanical processing processes.
In 2006, the aluminum alloy die casting department was launched, with the capacity to produce castings from a few grams up to approximately 8 kg in weight. In 2008 Lamec acquired the ISO 9001 quality certification which it still maintains in the 2015 edition
From 2011 to today, production capacity has increased by 40% with the installation of other 4 and 5 axis NC machines and multi-head motorized lathes.
In 2022, with the acquisition of Bromopress S.r.l. the foundry department is transferred and integrated into the Besnate headquarters.
